MPRC – 2023 Match 5

-Tickets available one month prior, at 7pm EST.
-Ticket sales close the Wednesday prior to the match at 7pm EST.
-Squadding opens via practiscore at 7pm EST the Monday prior to the match.
-First upload of shooters to practiscore will be the Sunday or Monday prior to the match.
-Second upload of shooters to practiscore will be the Wednesday prior to the match, AFTER SQUADDING CLOSES.
-If you don’t make the first upload, you’ll be squadded where needed to even out the squads.

Match dates and locations are as follow:
April 8th, MTC
May 13th, MTC
June 17th, MTC*
July 29th, MTC
August 19th, MTC
September 16th, MTC**

*Our June match will be directed by a substitute MD, Bob Corby.

**Our September match is our Season Finale- this match is by invitation only.  To be invited, you must log a score (actually shoot), two regular season MPRC Matches, and have a 2023 MPRC Membership.

With a continued focus on local shooter development for 2023, expect matches geared more toward skills refinement, than one to separate the field, especially for April-June.  We’ll have a lot of the enjoyable stages people tend to request, with plenty of achievable targets.

Expect 8-9 stages, requiring around 80-100 rounds.  Bring enough extra ammunition to zero if you so choose, and to cover the rare event that you need to re-shoot a stage.

Typical Schedule:
0700 – Sign-in opens
0700 (or first light) – Zero Range opens
0800 – Match Brief at firing line
0820 – Range hot
1500 – Estimated match completion.

Please take note – At this time, the long range (lanes 1 & 2) will be CLOSED to MTC members, MPRC shooters, and the public from Friday at noon until the match begins.  The only exception is for any MTC Clinic’s / sanctioned training.  DO NOT expect to arrive the evening prior expecting to verify data.  If you do, you will be asked to leave the property.  If this changes, shooters will be notified via E-Mail.  The ZERO RANGE, and the rest of the facility will be open RANGE (MTC) MEMBERS.  If you do not have a RANGE MEMBERSHIP, you will not be permitted to utilize any of the lanes until the zero range opens on the morning of the match.  All participants are welcome to camp and/or socialize on premises Friday.

As always, we can use help with set-up on Friday, and Squad Leaders/RO duties for the match.  Those who volunteer for Squad Leader / RO duties will receive a coupon code for a free match.  If you’d like to volunteer for either, please reach out to Nate (nate@prschallenge.com) and let us know you’ll be there!  Set-up starts at Noon on Friday.
