MPRC – Match 1

Our first match of the season!

We’ve worked with Marksmanship Training Center to pair this match with their Match Prep Clinic, in an effort to provide our shooters with the perfect way to kick off their season!  Come up to Lake City for the whole weekend- get some great training on Saturday, then put those skills to use at the Sunday MPRC match!

The match prep clinic will be instructed by some of our top shooters- Bob Corby, Dan Rillet and Team Chancis (Chad Heckler & Francis Colon)  You simply will not find comparable training for anywhere near this price.  Don’t wait to sign up!

MTC Match Prep Clinic

With a renewed focus on local shooter development, expect a match geared more toward knocking the dust off from the off season, than one to separate the field.  We’ll have a lot of the enjoyable stages people tend to request, with plenty of achievable targets.

Expect 8-10 stages, requiring around 80-100 rounds.  Bring enough extra ammunition to zero if you so choose, and to cover the rare event that you need to re-shoot a stage.

Schedule:
0700 – Sign-in opens
0700 (or first light) – Zero Range opens
0800 – Match Brief at firing line
0820 – Range hot
1500 – Estimated match completion.

Please take note – At this time, the range will be CLOSED to MTC members, MPRC shooters, and the public from Friday at noon until the zero range opens Sunday morning.  The only exception is for the MTC Match Prep Clinic.  DO NOT expect to arrive Saturday evening and zero / verify data.  If you do, you will be asked to leave the property.  If this changes, shooters will be notified via E-Mail.

As always, we can use help with set-up on Friday, and Squad Leaders/RO duties for the match on Sunday.  If you’d like to volunteer for either, please reach out to Nate (nate@prschallenge.com) and let us know you’ll be there!  Set-up starts at Noon on Friday.
